Ya know, you shouldn't have to apologize for judging a budget knife based on value for the price. That's the purpose of a "budget knife". I feel like you are are very close to "giving in" to the knife snobs you like to mock!

This was my first Spyderco and even though I've got more expensive knives this one still finds its way in my pocket almost weekly . I think it's great

Hi hope everyone is well. I own the Efficient by Spyderco. My Efficient has a black blade and is military green also semi serrated. Although this knife is a budget knife I value this knife very much. It was one of my first Spyderco knives. A great investment with no complaints.

I wish the efficient was $45 here in Canada. It $80 plus tax for the od green one that you have in the video I love spyderco but for 8cr13mov at $80 I can get the manbug v-toku2 sprint run, urban lightweight in n690co or the roadie in n690co for less money than the of green efficient and not much more than the plain black efficient

I have an efficient,i love it but i hate 2 things about it : 1-8cr13Mov
2-the PLASTIC washers.
If it came with a better steel and better washers or bearings it would become A LOT more popular and better in my opinion, but it really is an amazing bang for buck spyderco.

That's a fantastic design, I like it a lot. But for that price, Spyderco are going to lose out to the other Chinese brands that regularly have bearings, superior steels and great build quality.

I’d like to think that there are endless stockpiles of odd sized torx hardware… bunch of T9, T7 laying around collecting dust. This knife is like flavor of the sage but in a tenacious dressed package.
