I’m not easily disappointed when it comes to knives, heck even cheap $5 knives fail to disappoint me as I know what I’m buying. But I felt like I payed too much these Pfeil Chip Carving Knives and they failed to deliver.
Knife Specs:
– Steel: Special Alloy Tool STeel
– Rockwell Hardness: 57-60
– Needs to be sharpened
– Great edge retention

From their dull edge to the uncomfortable handles, I would stay away from these knives altogether. If you are a beginner, I would suggest picking up some Flexcut knives instead. Click here to find some on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3cSDlzL

These knives are more for chip carving. Not for whittling.
