Helle Mandra Knife Review

The Helle Mandra is the second collaboration between Les Stroud of Survivorman fame, and Helle of Norway.

The Mandra is designed to be worn either as a neck knife, or on your hip, as the sheath does have a belt loop.

The knife itself features a very stout 69 mm or 2.7″ blade and is actually a full tang knife. You will notice it has a very wide, swept belly that’s great for processing game birds, skinning small game, making feather sticks or wood carving, or any other associated outdoor tasks you might need to do.

The handle is made from curly birch, and as always, comes with Helle’s lifetime guarantee.

If you are looking for a nice little neck knife, or a stout, compact blade to wear on your hip to add to your collection, check out the Helle Mandra.

The Canadian Outdoor Equipment is an authorized distributor of Helle Knives, so when you purchase from us your product is guaranteed authentic.

I was going to buy a Helle Mandra until the negative reviews I have seen on Knifecenter website. The buyers complained of poor quality finish on the Mandra and poor ergonomics on the handle and finish for such a expensive knife.
