Glock 23 Review EDC or CCW Favorite

I review the Glock 23 Compact.. http://www.youtube.com/user/wcopeland38
This Glock is an excellent weapon for your armory.

The GLOCK 23 combines compact dimensions for both open and concealed carry, with minimum weight, despite its large magazine capacity in .40 caliber. Having survived durability tests and use by U.S. Law Enforcement agencies, the G23 pistol has repeatedly demonstrated its world-class durability and reliability in even the most unfavorable conditions. That’s why countless police authorities continue to adopt the GLOCK 23 as their official service pistol.

I have a Glock 23 and love it. But I went to the gun store the other day and the guy told me he didn't have but a few a 40 S&W in his entire store. And this was a big gun store with an excellent selection. He said he couldn't give them away because no one wanted them.

Purchased a OD green gen4 Glock 23 several years ago and love it. Just got another but its a gen3 police trade-in . Both are awesome. I have to have two of most things lol. Glad you are enjoying yours. Thanks

The 40 S&W is not any more "high pressure" than several other popular calibers. SAAMI sets the pressure of the 40 at 35,000 psi. Same as the 9mm and the 357 magnam.

Good video but the 40 isnt really high pressure, its like the 45 acp, bigger bullet so it needs more powder. But the 45 is heavy so its still slower. And i don't know if you said its snappy but i just wanna say 40smith&wesson isnt "snappy" it actually has lower recoil then 9mm but it has kick which 9mm doesnt really. Thats why people think its snappy, the kick hurts there wrists. Now i know some dumbass is gonna walk up see that i said 9mm is higher in recoil and they usually say some shit like "its pretty obvious you dont know this and that blah blah blah i have a small penis" but if you go to several different videos of people shooting glock 40s (22 23 27) and 9mms (17,19,26). You can use the slow mo mode on the youtube app or even laptop site and if you watch keep rewinding back and forth you can clearly see 40 has lower recoil. Same with 45acp which for me has the lowest recoil and no kick. Federal even makes a round that is the same grain, 9mm and 40sw. Also if your gun doesnt feed hollow points use the new federal guard dog. It can feed like fmj and penetrate like fmj but expands and crushes on itself like a jacketed hollow point. Sorta like when you crush a m&m with your fingers. Also it doesnt have to glock it can be a 1911 a beretta px4 a beretta 92/96fs or compact, cz75 whatever you can see the truth.

The m&p 40c is easier to conceal with its shorter grip and slide length, it would be my choice for edc.

its been my EDC for years.. i go back and forth now and then by getting a slim single stack.. but i always find my way back to my OD Green Gen 3 Glock 23
