The Alliance Designs Angry Baby Bear Pocketknife: The Full Nick Shabazz Review

Today, we’ll take a look at a knife that’s made quite nice, but for quite a price, the Alliance Designs and Ray Laconico Angry Baby Bear.

Anyone besides me tired of the "harpoon" blade shape? I can't see any real usefulness to it.

There are so many blade designs created today, it must be difficult for a maker to develop something new. Thus we see complex interesting styles like this, no more useful but very cool.

Iโ€™m โ€œthis far in the videoโ€ because itโ€™s a Nick review. I didnโ€™t like the knife as soon as I saw the picture.

The next NEW design from Laconico will be exactly this design, but with FIVE holes. ๐Ÿ˜€

Agreed that this knife beckons Ray Laconico. But I don't see that as a negative. Lock bar access is limited and a little bitey. Got to admit, I love this knife. One of my very favorite sophisticated carries. Not crazy about the blade steel, but I understand that RWL-34 is very easy to work with. I will admit that I would not pay $400 for this knife. But I got her fir $200 and I call that a win.

Before I even knew this was a laconico knife I said to myself "wow that looks like my laconico…"

I think many of us feel Laconico can do no wrong which is correct as how could he being that he has made every new model essentially the same for the past few years. Come on Ray change is a good thing.
