Today, we’re going to take a quick look at a clicky pen which is nicely made, but where clicky isn’t necessarily as well done, the Karas Kustoms Retrakt.

'Let's do a quick size comparison here.
This is it next to a brakehandle from a tram, and again next to a dogbiscuit'.

$60? The website says the minimum price is $70. That clicking issue is a hanging offense for me, especially at that price. Thanks for the review Nick!

For what it's worth, I have carried this pen everyday for a year and a half and never had a single issue. It is super lightweight, takes the pilot G2 refill, and works with a polo style shirt better than any pen I have tried and I have tried a ton.

Karas' site says the design is revamped now, but still has a bit of that disclaimer left. So….hmm.

G'day Nick, I originally thought a loop over clip and some gription would do he trick but that mech sucks and that's pretty much no warranty at all. Baffling. Cheers Duke.

I dunno. Given it can use a lot of the same refills as other pens, what really makes it better value proposition than an all metal Parker Jotter? The clip even looks clunky as does the top button…

I have this pen in brass and it's bad. The clicker is horrible, the body is too thick and uncomfortable to write, plus mine very often gets undone (unscrews itself in my pocket). Needless to say I don't use it. Good review.

Socket head cap screws are made to be used in counter bored holes. It just looks wrong when used like this.

Hey knife enthusiasts. If you wanted an edc folding knife for less than $75, that hand metal handles, what would you choose? Was thinking of getting the Cryo, but open to other options
