Spyderco Ambitious Knife Review a Great Lightweight EDC Blade!

Here’s my once over review of the smallest in the series, the Spyderco Ambitious liner-lock folding knife. The knife weighs 3 ounces, and folds up compact. It’s got skeletonized liners to save weight and a good stainless steel 2.25″ blade. See also my review of the Spyderco Persistence if you’re looking for something a little larger. Either way, you can’t beat the value.

Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more!

It's snug, but smoothly rounded and goes on pretty easy. The G10 does get some traction on your pocket though. I'm sure you can loosen the grip if it's too much by pulling it outward. I had to do that on a couple of my knives. Otherwise it's one of the smoother clips.

1/8th of an inch thick, lol. I don't know why I said 8". My mouth gets lazy sometimes. :p

I assume at 1:38 you meant to say "8mm thick blade", not "8in thick blade". May want to but one of those text bubbles on to say that, though I don't think anybody will actually think it's 8 inches thick…

what's the clip like on these Spydercos? Last couple knives I bought the clips are so tight I'm worried about them ripping my pants lol
