We’ll also start a fire with this knife and break through a truck window with the hammer end. Before we’re all done we will talk about who this knife is for… and who should consider a different knife.

Why the heck would u even think about breaking a window henry ford would be furios

PS: I think Ethan Becker is so much better than Bear Gryllys or whatever his name is. No disrespect but I think he's something of a grandstander, which I think someone below said as well. Ethan Becker's BK-11 series and his BK series in general I think could go toe-to-toe and win out (not only in quality of steel, but in durability and function)

That said, I think there are several fantastic Bear knives. But they aren't the "legend" status that Ka-Bar and Ethan Becker and ESEE (ESSE?) the Ka-Bar/Beckr/ESSE D'Eskabar is about the coolest freaking small-straight survival/combat blade (made out of freakin' D2 steel, stonewashed, etc.)'

And Gerber's LMF 2 is definitely better than the Bear Prodigy in my mere, very wordy opinion.

Ótima faca sem problemas aqui no Brasil recomendo para todos os aventureiros!!!!

grills is nothing but a grandstander and I would not buy a damn thing that bears his name!!!! he travels w/ a full camera crew and a safety crew!!!! that is not being a survival expert!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well kyler I can't remember the rest of your name but to answer your question it is not a full tang it is a 3/4 tang which means it is about a quarter of an inch from the bottom so it is not but it is very close so it would even be fine for batoning

I got the serrated edge knife a week ago, I love the knife because it has good weight balance in my hand, it did take a while to figure out how the sharpener worked though

Good review, thanks. Could you possibly make a how to video showing exactly how you lash it to the stick. Mine keeps falling off.

i've sharpened the knife with the gerber ceramic sharpener and it is pretty sharp, a clean slice on the arm removes the hair straw really well

I bought mine on the internet today and think I get it Thursday pleases me. super video and channel. Sincerely a fan from norway
