which one is better, victorinox new soldier or leatherman rev? thy are the same price whre i live

had a buddy buy me a leatherman micra about 13yrs. ago for my birthday. always on my keychain. Still sturdy after years of abuse. So handy to always have on me. Dont always wear a belt and my big leatherman is a bit to big and uncomfortable to carry around in my pocket so the micra actually sees more action. looking into the Gerber Dime as a backup EDC, but all the reviews are always so mixed that I havent been able to make up my mind. it gets a lot of praise, but then people say its flimsy. my experience with Gerber is somewhat limited, but it's all been pretty good quality what I have seen.

The leathermans in my country are overpriced. Like skeletool is 80$. Vave is 110$, juice 80$. I don't know why. Maybe because of importing from America or just reseller. Only victorinox is not overpriced its 40$ thank God.

My collection so far & the prices I paid brand new consist of the following: Supertool 300 black version( $22), Wave ($22), Wingman ($15), and the Sog reactor ($16), and the Gerber M450 sport for ($9).

Well, between the comments on Leathermans being junk, and the fact that the Military issues Gerber stuff, Gerber it is!

Just lost my edc Juice S2. I cant think of any way to improve it. Very good at daily tasks yet ultra compact. Comfortable in a front pocket. For the great outdoors, I would additionally carry a large belt-mounted tool with a saw JIC. Been looking at other options to replace Juice, but haven’t found anything so compact up to the job.

I purchased a Leatherman Juice about 12 years ago. I'd hardly ever used it – certainly not for any heavy-duty purpose – and after probably less than 12 months it literally fell to pieces in my hands. A complete piece of junk and I would never buy Leatherman again.

Top 5 Best should have nothing to do with price. Not having the Leatherman Charge Ti on this list is nonsense. I think it is in the top 3 full size multi tools in existence. It is expensive yes… but in the world of Multitools you do get what you pay for. The newer Leatherman Charge Pro TTi will run about $160 but its well worth it for sure.
